How does Nano Anti-Fingerprint Coating work?
The coating modifies the outermost surface of the stainless steel, creating a controlled interface between the decorative metal and fingerprints, oils, moisture and everyday contamination.

When untreated stainless steel is touched, skin oils can spread directly across the metal surface. These contaminants alter the way light reflects from the finish, making fingerprints highly visible.
With Nano-AFP treatment, contaminants first interact with the protective coating rather than directly with the decorative surface.
The result is not necessarily a completely fingerprint-free surface. Instead, fingerprints are designed to become less visually prominent and easier to remove.

Anti-fingerprint does not mean scratch-proof.
The primary purpose of Nano-AFP is to improve resistance to fingerprints and surface contamination while making routine cleaning easier.
Decorative stainless steel can still be damaged by sharp objects, abrasive pads, aggressive chemicals, severe mechanical contact or improper handling.
Any claims regarding scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance or outdoor performance should therefore be evaluated according to the specification and testing of the particular coating system.
